Todd Warden
Managing Partner, Harbor Light Capital Partners

Prior to founding Harbor Light Capital Partners, Todd Warden was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at MARKEM Corporation. Before joining MARKEM, Mr. Warden was a principal and member of the founding investment team at General Catalyst Partners, an early stage venture capital and leveraged buyout firm based in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Warden has been working with early stage companies as an investor and business development executive for over a dozen years. He has built a strong track record from securing initial venture funding through public offerings and mergers and acquisitions by public companies. A sample of some of these transactions included BBN, Webspective, Allaire, IMlogic, Avaki, Venetica and mQube. Mr. Warden currently sits on the Boards of Fetch Enterprises and Eggrock, as well as the non-profit Boards of The Mayhew Program and the Monadnock Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Mr. Warden is also a member of the state and local investment committee for the Putnam Foundation. He received his MBA degree from The School of Management at Boston University and a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont.

Harry Healer
Founder & Former Managing Director, Venture Capital Fund of New England

Harry J. Healer, Jr. has over 30 years of venture capital experience. For 11 years, he co-managed FleetBoston Financial’s (BankBoston’s) venture capital affiliates before resigning in 1980 to co-found The Venture Capital Fund of New England (VCFNE). Since that time, he has been a general partner of a succession of funds that VCFNE has raised and managed, specializing in early-stage venture investing. Professionally, he concentrates on making and managing investments in the fields of information technology and industrial technology. He currently serves as a member of the board of the VCFNE portfolio company Aircuity, Inc. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Babson College, and has served on the boards of 33 private and 13 public companies.

Nelson Repenning
Associate Professor, MIT Sloan School of Management

Nelson P. Repenning is an Associate Professor of Management Science and Organization Studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His work focuses on understanding the factors that contribute to the successful implementation, execution, and design of business processes, particularly those in new product development. Professor Repenning has received several awards for his work, including best paper recognition from both the California Management Review and the Journal of Product Innovation Management. In 2003 he received the International System Dynamics Society’s Jay Wright Forrester award, which recognizes the best work in the field in the previous five years. His current work focuses on developing new methods for managing resources in multi-project development environments and the creation of management flight simulators as tools for improving organizational performance.

Donald W. Laden
Operating Partner, Baird Venture Partners

Prior to joining Baird Venture Partners in December 2011, he was President of the International Group and Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, General Counsel and Secretary of Metavante. While there, he was instrumental in structuring the spin-off from Marshall & Ilsley Corporation in 2007, a transaction in which Metavante became a public company. He also successfully negotiated the merger of Metavante Technologies, Inc into Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. in 2009. From November 2009 until December 2011, Mr. Layden was an Advisor to Warburg Pincus in the TMT group. He serves on the boards of Firstsource Solutions, Online Resources, and Catholic Financial Life as well as several private companies including: Zipmark, SafetyPay, SnowShoe, and TxVia until it was acquired by Google. Mr. Layden graduated from Marquette University and received his J.D. with honors from Marquette University Law School. He is also very active in the Milwaukee community.

Devon Kinkead
CEO & Founder, Micronotes

In 2005, Devon Kinkead sold his first technology start-up company, Extraction Systems, to Entegris for a profit of 5 1/2 times paid in capital and was invited to head up one of their leading lines of business. He grew the $85MM business unit sales at 18% over industry growth and brought 20% of sales to the operating profit line. Devon holds 15 patents and has authored 16 articles for technology publications. Devon holds a M.S. in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School and a B.A. in Biology/ Chemistry from Pitzer College. Devon's life compass is set for competence, promise-keeping, and compassion. He combined one of his passions - outdoor adventures and sports with a key component of his moral compass - compassion, to found the nonprofit Winterwalk, whose proceeds are donated to end homelessness in Greater Boston. He enjoys date night with his wife Anita, running, biking, swimming, snowshoeing... you get the idea. He's an outdoor sports guy. Devon is reasonably fluent in French and Cape Verdean.
